Bantayn Island is more popular for its beaches than for its dive sites. There are A LOT of nice places to stay. Sta. Fe Beach club and Kota Beach to name 2.  
 
Malapascua Island is for divers. From there, dive operators can take you to Monad Shoal and Gato Islands. Get the resorts by the beaches. They have 24 hr electricity...most of the resorts behind them don't have

there are good dives in Mactan also. 
 
Go south of Cebu and you can stay in Moalboal. There are lots of nice resorts there. Pescador Island is a great dive site.

I will be going to cebu in Aug for 3 days, any idea where\'s a good place to dive and stay. I have heard of bantayan island, is it good???
