Dive Spots in Cebu

ImageCebu, the queen city of the south, is home to some of the best dive spots in the country. From urban Mactan to small town Moalboal, from the southern to the northern tip of the island, Cebu is a diver’s fantasy indeed.
Noteworthy dive spots:
  • Capitancillo Island
  • Talong Island
  • Olongo Island - Mabini Point
  • Olongo Island - Mabini Point to Baring
  • Olongo Island - Sta. Rosa and Poo
  • Mactan Island
  • Mactan Island - Amboucuan Point
  • Mactan Island - Marigondon
  • East Side of Panganan Islet
  • East Side of Caohagan Islet
  • East Side of Lassuan Islet
  • Kansantik

Blue hole
There's a blue hole, I'm not sure if it's in Kaubyan. I would say one of the noteworthy dive spots there in Cebu. 
I wonder what it's like now? I dove there with Bebot Mercado long time ago.

Cebu Club Fort Med

another tourist spot to watch for

aside from those above mentioned diving site. please also check out Lagundi Reef in Talisay City, Cebu. I tell you it is an underwater paradise. :)

Re: Boljoon Dive Sites and Club Fort Med
We already stayed at Club Fort Med several months ago and brought tanks and gear and dove the house reef there. Even left you a www.cebudiver.com sticker. We liked it very much.  
 
We wanted to visit the place again and dive there but we could not get tanks if we don't get a Dive Master from PCR.  
 
Next time we'll bring our own tanks again.

Boljoon Dive Sites
Just want to inform that Boljoon has dive sites frequented by Japanese divers thru the help of PCR dive. Boljoon can be your launch pad to Balicasag, Sumilon, Siquijor. Boljoon is just 2 hrs drive from the city to the scenic southeast Cebu and stay at Club Fort Med Resort :) :)

Bantayn Island is more popular for its beaches than for its dive sites. There are A LOT of nice places to stay. Sta. Fe Beach club and Kota Beach to name 2.  
 
Malapascua Island is for divers. From there, dive operators can take you to Monad Shoal and Gato Islands. Get the resorts by the beaches. They have 24 hr electricity...most of the resorts behind them don't have

there are good dives in Mactan also. 
 
Go south of Cebu and you can stay in Moalboal. There are lots of nice resorts there. Pescador Island is a great dive site.

I will be going to cebu in Aug for 3 days, any idea where\'s a good place to dive and stay. I have heard of bantayan island, is it good???
